Luck is completely random and although the individual odds of winning the lottery are almost nil it is true when they say that someone has to win one of the prizes. But the luck of this woman is just completely incredible. As reported by local media, a Florida woman won the lottery not just once but twice. That’s right, this lucky woman won the lottery twice on the same day acquiring an estimated total prize of more than four million dollars.
The woman, a resident of Boca Raton, southeast Florida, bought two tickets with the same Mega Millions lottery numbers on September 14. When the woman bought the tickets she did it with the hope of winning even one of the small prizes but she never imagined that her life would change so radically and that her case would be so special.
The lucky numbers for the woman were 4, 13, 19, 63, and 64, which brought 64 years old, Susan Fitton, $ 2 million each ticket, for a total of $4 million.
But her luck could have been much greater if she also hit a sixth number, called Mega Ball, which will distribute up to 34 million to the winner or winners in its next edition.
Although she didn’t win the jackpot, we don’t think this woman has anything to complain about right now.
Fitton bought the tickets at a small Boca Raton store and claimed her prize six days after winning the lottery, which will also incur a $10,000 commission from the store for selling the winning numbers, the outlet said.
The Florida Lottery has distributed more than 772 million in Mega Millions prizes to about 60 million players since it began selling these tickets in 2013, according to the state agency.
