There are amazing animals in the whole world, but especially Australia is a country with great biological diversity. Hundreds of species live there that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, so finding strange creatures there is not that difficult.

Among the species that can only be found in Australia is the kangaroo, a species of marsupial that is probably the most representative animal in this country. Kangaroos are known to be very fast, jumping animals that store their young in small bags on their own bodies until they are ready for the world. Kangaroos are also known to be particularly strong. But none like Roger.

A few years ago a kangaroo named Roger became famous on the internet, but this was not just like any other kangaroo. From a very young age, he was orphaned and he had been trapped in his mother’s pouch, unable to free himself from it and being very young he still did not have enough strength to escape, his fate seemed sealed.

However, before the worst happened Roger was rescued by Chris Barns who took him to a sanctuary to care for him. There, Roger grew up and became practically the leader of his pack.

Roger’s rise to fame came when the sanctuary in which he lived posted some photos of him on social media. In those pictures, the whole world saw the impressive and muscular body that this kangaroo had. He is totally ripped.

Roger was 6 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighed close to 200 pounds. That is a lot for the average kangaroo.

Since then, from time to time, photos of his impressive body, similar to that of a bodybuilder, have been around the internet and many users of social media continue to express their amazement and even a feeling of intimidation by the incredible animal.

“He grew up to be a kangaroo that people from all over the world have grown to love as much as we love him too,” said Chris Barns.

Roger died in 2018 at the age of 12 but his story and the amazement produced by the images of him are still alive around the world.
